(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 2,792 positive coronavirus cases in Sunday’s daily update. There are 59,388 active cases in the state, a decrease of 2,740 from Saturday. Active cases make up 14.4-percent of the 412-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 348-thousand recoveries.
The state reported 17 deaths bringing that total to 3,719. Deaths account for point-nine-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.4-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 280-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has experienced 83 deaths and 9,017 cases to date. The county had 116 negative tests returned for a running total of 34,086.
Washington County has reported 77 deaths along with 9,599 cases.
Fond du Lac County has 53 deaths and has 9,105 positive tests on record.
The state says Jefferson County has seen 41 deaths and 5,671 cases to date.
Columbia County has 13 deaths and 3,646 positive tests.
Green Lake County has seven deaths and 1,228 cases on record, with 107 cases reported in the last two weeks.
