(Washington County) Washington County Sheriff’s deputies took a child pornography possession suspect into custody at the Slinger High School Thursday.
The investigation into the 27-year-old town of Trenton man was based on a cyber tip of unlawful images being uploaded in the village of Grafton. Detectives got a search warrant to search the man’s home Thursday morning, but learned his vehicle was at Slinger High School. He had been working there as a janitor for the past eight weeks.
Thursday was the first day he had switched over to the day shift. Sheriff’s officials say there is no evidence suggesting any local victims, but they note that the investigation is in the early stages.
Since the images were uploaded at a village of Grafton residence, Grafton Police are forwarding charges of possession of child abuse material to the Ozaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
