(Waupun) The Waupun Police Department has released details of a two-month invasion of privacy investigation that led to an arrest of a Milwaukee man. Officers were called to a business in the 900 block of East Main Street in September for a report of a male subject who was in the womenโs bathroom and recorded a 14-year-old girl in the bathroom stalls.
Police reportedly identified the suspect as 28-year-old Demarius Glover-Smith who was located at an adjacent business and was taken into custody. Two cellular phones were seized as evidence.
Following a search of Glover-Smithโs devices, detectives reportedly uncovered roughly 47-hundred files in various hidden and locked folders. Authorities say the files consisted of various forms of pornography, erotica, bestiality, and images that showed Glover-Smith following women around and taking inappropriate photos without their consent.
They add that numerous other files that were located consisted of videos capturing females of various ages being exposed while using the bathroom. Detectives identified multiple locations where these files were created including Waupun, Waukesha, Madison, and Milwaukee.
Waupun police have contacted the other agencies to share the evidence uncovered. Chargers referred against Glover-Smith in Dodge County court include Attempted Invasion of Privacy, Attempt to Capture Intimate Representation without Consent, and Capture Intimate Representations without Consent.
