Pardeeville Man Arrested Following Search Warrant At Waupun Residence

(Waupun) Reports of endangered children led to a search warrant being executed at a Waupun residence Wednesday and the arrest of a wanted Pardeeville man. Waupun police, along with the Lake Winnebago MEG-Drug Unit, was contacted by the Fond du Lac County Child Protective Services with information that there was illegal drug activity occurring at a home in the 200 block of Fond du Lac Street.

They also noted that the living conditions were not favorable for children. A home visit by Child Protective Services was conducted and drug paraphernalia was located, leading to a search warrant.

The 45-year-old Pardeeville man was found barricading himself inside a small room within the basement. Authorities say he surrendered peacefully. The man was wanted on numerous warrants through Columbia County on drug, traffic, and bail jumping offenses.

Police add that drug charges are also being referred against a 57-year-old Waupun woman, a 29-year-old Waupun woman, and a 31-year-old Waupun man.

Child Protective Services removed the children from the home and are working on placement. No injuries occurred during the incident and authorities say the community is not in danger.
