(Juneau) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 405 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 10,616 active cases in the state, a decrease of 411 from Sunday. Active cases make up 1.9-percent of the 555-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 538-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded four deaths bringing that total to 6,166. Deaths account for 1.1-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.6-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the two-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 485-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has experienced 154 deaths and 11,313 cases, a one-day increase of two positive tests. There have been 39, 449 negative tests returned in the county. Health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 112 people.
Washington County has seen 127 deaths along with 13,590 cases to date.
Fond du Lac County has 88 deaths with 11,818 positive tests on record; 221 are active cases.
The state says Jefferson County has 75 deaths, and 7,769 cases to date; with 107 active cases.
Columbia County has seen 50 deaths and 4,958 positive tests; there are 74 active cases.
Green Lake County has 18 deaths with 1,517 cases on record; 26 cases have been reported in the last two weeks.
