Last Dodge County Strip Club Closes

(Juneau) The last so-called Gentleman’s Club in Dodge County has closed. The establishment, which has gone by many names in recent years and most recently Elite Entertainment, was located in Juneau. The new owner of the property says a real estate holding company managed by Vine and Branch management purchased the strip club for the purpose of shutting it down and turning it into a place of worship, healing, and counseling. This will include offices for Chris Jansen Ministries, whole life healing counseling, Vine and Branch Management, and more.

The owners say while this certainly does not end the opportunities for criminal operations of human trafficking, this is a significant development and reduces the avenues for these criminal activities to take place. They add that public can be sure that while this development is a positive one for the community, the sheriff’s office will continue to investigate human trafficking that occurs within Dodge County.

Two other strip clubs, TNT in the town of Lebanon and the Hardware Store in the village of Clyman, have both shut down in recent years. Sheriff’s officials say these establishments have created opportunities for human trafficking, prostitution, drug overdoses, and even shootings.

They note that law enforcement as well as local, state, and federal resources have been expended investigating these crimes and aiding victims, including those who were brutally abused and used as part of sex trafficking operations.
