This week’s Horicon Bank High School Team of the Week is the Waupun girls basketball team. Tim Aalsma’s squad wrapped up the regular season with an impressive 21-3 record and an 11-1 mark in the East Central Conference, which earned them their 3rd straight league title. That spectacular regular season earned the Warriors a #1 seed in the WIAA Division Three state basketball playoffs. Senior and Illinois State recruit Abbie Aalsma leads the Warriors in scoring at just under 21 points per game. Sophomore Kayl Petersen averages 18 points per game.
