Horicon Bank High School Team Of The Week – 10-26-21

This week’s Horicon Bank High School Team of the Week is the Beaver Dam High School girls cross country team.  PJ Senn’s squad had a big day to win the Division One Sectional at Slinger to qualify for the WIAA Division One Cross Country Meet at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.  The Golden Beavers finished with a meet best 81 points, which was four points better than 2nd place Oshkosh West.

Kylie Hackbarth led the way with a 6th place finish in a time of 20:17.9.  Leah Burchardt was 9th at 20:34.9.  In 11th place was Mila Westra at 21:02.5, Brooklyn Tonn 19th at 21:45.8, while Corey Gundert rounded out the team scoring with a 36th place finish in 22:30.0.   Jesssica Redman was also 38th at 22:36.8 and Rebecca Rydzewski was 40th at 22:44.7
