(Green Lake County) Green Lake County has a new coroner. Governor Tony Evers announced his appointment of Daniel Krieser to the position. This fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Dr. John Willet in May. Evers says Krieser will make a great coroner and will serve Green Lake County with expertise and professionalism. Krieser has served with the Fond du Lac County Medical Examiner’s Office since 2014. Evers says the experience gained during that time will help Krieser step into the job with ease. Krieser has been a death investigator, the operations manager, the interim medical examiner, and is now the autopsy manager in Fond du Lac County. In those roles, he has had the opportunity to work alongside the Green Lake County Coroner’s Office. Krieser says he is thankful the governor has given him this opportunity and that he is excited to become a part of the community.
