Beaver Dam Football Heads To Sauk Prairie Tonight

The Beaver Dam High School football team (0-1) hits the road tonight for a non-conference title at Sauk Prairie.   The Golden Beavers dropped their season opener to Menasha 34-23 last Friday night in their season opener.   Sophomore Gabe Klatt ran 12 times for 140 yards and touchdown runs of 50 and 57 yards as the new look BD offense rolled up 173 yards on the ground.

Sauk Prairie (0-1) dropped a 43-7 decision at Monroe in their season opener.  Damien Wright-Rodriguez scored the Eagles lone TD of the night with three yard run in the 2nd quarter.   Sauk Prairie is coached by Randy Wallace who is in his first season as head coach.  He has spent time as an assistant on the school’s coaching staff and has been very involved in youth football in the community.
