(BEAVER DAM) Rock fans heading to the Dodge County Fair this summer will get a night of classic hits under the grandstand lights.
George Thorogood and The Destroyers are set to take the Moraine Park Main Stage on Saturday, Aug. 22, with the show starting at 8 p.m. The concert is included with paid admission to the fair.
The band has spent more than five decades on the road and is known for songs like โBad to the Bone,โ โOne Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,โ and โI Drink Alone.โ Organizers say fans can expect a high-energy set built around those staples.
Fair officials say the performance is part of a full day of events in Beaver Dam. A horse pull starts the morning at 9 a.m., followed by a tractor pull at noon. The midway opens for a family-focused afternoon with discounted rides before the concert closes out the night.
Admission to the fair costs $10 before noon and $15 after. Kids 9 and under get in free. Seating for the concert is first come, first served.
The Dodge County Fair runs Aug. 19 through Aug. 23 at the fairgrounds just east of Beaver Dam.
