Summerfest and Generac Power Systems have announced the return of several fan experiences for the 2026 festival, including the “Power Up with Purpose” program and a free admission promotion for military members and first responders.
Generac is entering its sixth year as a Summerfest stage sponsor. The Generac Power Stage with Miller High Life and TMJ4 will again host a variety of Indie, EDM, Alternative, New Wave and Rock artists during the nine-day festival in Milwaukee.
The 2026 Summerfest dates are June 18th through the 20th, June 25th through the 27th, and July 2nd through the 4th.
The “Power Up with Purpose” program is also returning for its fourth year. Through the program, fans can purchase pit passes for that evening’s headliner and the two acts before the headliner at the Generac Power Stage. The program has raised more than $233,000 for nonprofits supporting disaster response and veteran housing.
This year’s effort will benefit ToolBank USA’s Disaster Services program, which helps provide tools and equipment to volunteers responding to disasters and helping communities recover through cleanup, repairs and rebuilding.
Pit passes will be sold daily at noon on-site at Summerfest beginning June 18th, while supplies last. Fans can purchase them at the Generac orange shipping container across from the stage using the on-site vending machine.
Artists scheduled for the Generac Power Stage include Echo & the Bunnymen and Modern English on June 18th; Father John Misty and Evan Honer on June 19th; flipturn and Penelope Road on June 20th; Subtronics and Grabbitz on June 25th; Elderbrook and Big Wild on June 26th; Wolfmother and King Buffalo on June 27th; Candlebox and Buckcherry on July 2nd; Spoon and Ax and the Hatchetmen on July 3rd; and the BoDeans 40th Anniversary show with The Jayhawks on July 4th.
Generac is also presenting Military and First Responder Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 27th. Active-duty military members, veterans, police officers, firefighters and EMTs can receive free admission from noon to 6 p.m. with valid ID. The promotion also includes up to four family members.
