Odessa Karen (Steiner) Stofflet, age 80 of Beaver Dam, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
Odessa was born in Beaver Dam on September 1, 1945, the daughter of Norbert and Elva Steiner. She attended Beaver Dam High School. In 1963, she was united in marriage to LaMoyne Stofflet. Odessa was a homemaker until her children were older, when she then began work at the Weyenberg Shoe Factory. She later spent over 20 years at the Rick Schmitt American Family Insurance Agency. Following her retirement, she enjoyed spending time at her cottage, going to casinos, playing cards, and having lunch with her sewing group.
Odessa is survived by her sons, Mark Stofflet of Beaver Dam and Troy (Dana) Stofflet of Beaver Dam; daughter, Michelle (Jeff) Feucht of Appleton; eight grandchildren, Trista (Jayson), Jason, Jessica (Justin), Dylan, Ashley (Ryan), Makenna, Jadyn, and Trenton; four great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Adelynn, Layla, and Callen; brother, Larry (Sue) Steiner; sister, Sharon Helsinger; sister-in-law, Crystal Wiersma; brother-in-law, Steve (Hazel) Stofflet; special friend, Jean MacDonald; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and in-laws; husband, LaMoyne; daughter, Monica; brother, Ellis Steiner; brothers-in-law, Bruce Helsinger, Larry Wiersma, David Neuman; sister-in-law, Maryann Steiner; grandparents, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
A memorial gathering for Odessa will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Runke officiating. Inurnment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton.
