(FOX LAKE) More houses are about to go up in Fox Lake. The Common Council last Wednesday signed the second phase of a development agreement with Valido Homes of Columbus to build 12 single-family homes next year.
“It’s good for us to have some more single family homes come on line, and having more people who are going to establish long-term residency in the community is nice.” said Fox Lake Administrator Kelly Crombie. “The city’s owned this land for a couple of years now, so we’re happy to get some housing started on it.”
That’s in addition to the eight houses that are part of Phase One last year. That was made possible with a grant from the Dodge County Community Development Fund. The first of the Phase One houses will be occupied soon.
