(Juneau) Officials with Dodge County Public Health are inviting the public to donate blood later this month. The drive will be held at the Human Services and Health Department located at 199 County Road DF in Juneau.
The event is in partnership with the American Red Cross. Laura McGuire is with the Red Cross Wisconsin Region.
“We cannot stockpile blood, it does have an expiration date…so it might seem like the Red Cross is always out there looking for blood, and that’s because there’s a constant need,” says McGuire. She adds that blood goes out the door every single day, and it comes in the door every single day.
The blood drive will take place from 10am to 3pm on March 26th.
