BDUSD Hosting Facilities Open House At Middle School

(Beaver Dam) The public is invited to attend a Community Facilities Open House at the Beaver Dam Middle School next week. The district has been holding a series of informational sessions over the last several weeks addressing capital needs, identifying the best solution for the aging middle school, and improving site safety.

Superintendent Mark DiStefano says the open house will be a good opportunity for residents to engage with district staff.

“There’ll be an information booth…we’ll have some slides up…we’ll have people asking questions…people can take self-guided tours if they want, there’ll be a map…they can take guided tours, we’ll have folks to do that,” says DiStefano. “We’ll have staff at each of the three floors of the building able to greet and offer some context for folks.”

The open house is on March 14th from 5pm to 8pm. DiStefano notes that the building tours will be ongoing and community members are welcome to stay as long or as little as they want. He adds that there will also be opportunities to learn more and engage in conversation about the future of educational facilities in Beaver Dam.
