(Juneau) The public is welcome to an open house that will cover Dodge County’s efforts to update its comprehensive plan. The document is a long-range plan which expresses the county’s vision for how it will look in 20 years.
County officials say this plan will help them stay ahead of trends by assessing how they may impact new development, service provision, and natural resources. The public information meeting is taking place from 4:30pm to 6:30pm on February 19th at the Dodge County Administration Building located at 127 East Oak Street in Juneau.
A short overview presentation will start at 5:15pm in room 1H and 1I. Those who attend will be able to interact with Dodge County’s Land Resources and Park Department staff and representatives from Cedar Corporation, a third-party consultant firm that is assisting the county with its comprehensive planning.
The public will be able to ask questions about land use, transportation, economic development, and public service issues that may need to be addressed in the next five to 10 years.
