Dodge County Clerk Reminds Voters Online, Mail Registration Ends Wednesday

(Juneau) Dodge County Clerk Karen Gibson is reminding voters that this Wednesday is the final day to register to vote online or by mail. After Wednesday, you have to register in person at your local municipal clerk’s office or at the polls on election day. Proof of residence is needed to register which Gibson suggests a driver’s license, so long as it did not expire before the previous general election in 2018. If your driver’s license has your correct address, then election officials already have that information because that is shared between agencies. Gibson says you can print the registration form online and mail the form to your local municipal clerk with proof of residence. Acceptable proofs of residence include but are not limited to a real estate tax bill, lease, utility bill, paycheck stub, cell phone bill, state hunting or fishing license, credit card bill or bank statement.
