(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 1,956 positive coronavirus cases in Monday’s daily update. There are 29,478 active cases in the state, an increase of 490 from Sunday. Active cases make up 19.4-percent of the 152-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there are have been 121-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded nine deaths for a total of 1,474. Deaths accounted for one-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 5.6-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the over one-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 214-thousand people were from the United States.
Dodge County has 19 deaths on record and 2,621 cases, an increase of 71 from Sunday. The county had 32 negative tests returned for a running total of 24,829. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 769 people while 1,377 have recovered.
Washington County has experienced 37 deaths along with 3,296 cases.
Fond du Lac County has 3,007 positive tests on record along with 15 deaths.
Jefferson County is reporting eight deaths and 1,904 cases to date.
There have been three deaths in Columbia County where there have been 1,141 cases.
Green Lake County has one death and has 479 cases.
