(Beaver Dam) City officials in Beaver Dam are reminding the public of upcoming winter parking restrictions. Beginning November 1st, there will be no parking allowed on city streets between 2am and 6am, so that the Department of Public Works can clear the snow. Citations will be issued for violations and begin at $20 if the ticket is paid within five days. The parking ban will remain in effect until April 1 unless it is announced that the ban has been temporarily or permanently lifted. Residents with no alternative but to park on the street, the city is selling permits for on-street parking for $25-dollars. The permits can be purchased at the Beaver Dam Police Department Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 4:30pm. All applications will be reviewed on a yearly basis which usually takes roughly three-days to process.
