Beaver Dam High School Ribbon Cutting Open House On Saturday

(Beaver Dam) Beaver Dam school officials are pleased with the transition from summer construction work to the start of the school year.  The district is putting the finishing touches on an overhaul to the high school campus that stemmed from a $49-million dollar referendum approved by voters in the fall of 2016. Superintendent Mark DiStefano says he is thankful to have students return with a purpose following a hectic summer and added that it has been an outstanding start to the school year. The public is welcome to attend a formal dedication ceremony and open house tour at the high school this weekend. DiStefano says the event will give the community an opportunity to see first-hand the changes undergone at the facility. He says there will be several speakers and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the bulk of the time being spent on visitors touring the high school. The ceremony will be held this Saturday (September 22) beginning at 2pm in the fieldhouse.
