After knocking off Watertown 39-27 last week, the Beaver Dam High School football team (Overall: 1-5, Badger East: 1-3) welcomes Sun Prairie West (Overall: 3-3, Badger East: 1-3) to town for the first ever meeting between the two schools in a game you can hear on 1430 ESPN and watch on DailyDodge TV.
Junior running back Camron Mendoza ran for 309 yards in the win last week, which was the 3rd most in school history and has 971 yards and 9 touchdowns this season. Eli Bryant has thrown for 336 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 2022 with Kyler Keel hauling in 20 passes for 298 yards and one score.
After winning the first three games in the school’s history the Wolves have dropped three straight, including a 52-0 home defeat at the hands of #1 ranked Waunakee last week. Sun Prairie West’s offense features a balanced ground attack with Samuel James (263 rushing yards, 4 TDs), Jay Dayne (253 rushing yards, 3 TDs) and Jonathan Weah (215 rushing yards, 2 TDs).
