YMCA Of Dodge County Launches Annual Campaign To Support Community Needs

(Beaver Dam) The YMCA of Dodge County has launched its annual campaign to support the needs of the community. Their goal is to ensure that everyone in region has access to vital community programs and resources that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

YMCA of Dodge County CEO Dirk Langfoss says the Y is more than a gym, it is a cause. He adds at the Y, they are dedicated to keeping Dodge County children safe and engaged, the senior population active and connected and continue to move the community towards greater overall health and wellness.

Al Schwab will serve as the campaign’s chair and has been a long-time Y volunteer. Schwab says this commitment by the Y is made possible by the generous contributions of their members, board, committees and friends who believe in the YMCA’s ability to help strengthen the local community.

This year, the YMCA of Dodge County hopes to raise $150-thousand. Every penny raised goes directly to support local families so they can participate in the programs offered by the Y. The campaign will conclude with its Gator Raffle on September 7th.
