Wisconsin Health Department Coronavirus Monday Update

(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials recorded no deaths in their Monday daily update. The state’s 998 deaths accounted for 1.6-percent of all cases while 8.2-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. State health officials reported 507 positive coronavirus cases Monday, which is 6.2-percent of the 8,100 tests announced. There are 9,383 active cases in the state, a decrease of 127 from Sunday. Active cases make up 15.4-percent of the 61-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 50-thousand recoveries.

Nationwide, the CDC says there has been 161-thousand deaths while the worldwide death toll is widely reported to be around 732-thousand.

Dodge County has five deaths on record and 835 cases, an increase of 16 from Sunday. The county had 54 negative tests returned for a running total of 16,667. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 193 people while 397 have recovered.

Washington County has 22 deaths and 1,066 cases.

Fond du Lac County has seven deaths and 671 positive tests to date.

Jefferson County has five deaths along with 637 cases.

Columbia County now has two deaths on record and 252 cases.

Green Lake County has 56 cases.
