(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting 624 positive coronavirus cases in Tuesday’s daily update. There are 10,312 active cases in the state, a decrease of 304 from Monday. Active cases make up 1.9-percent of the 556-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have been 539-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded 38 deaths bringing that total to 6,204. Deaths account for 1.1-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 4.6-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Of the two-million people who have died worldwide, the CDC says 486-thousand people who have died in the United States.
Dodge County has experienced 154 deaths and 11,322, a one-day increase of nine positive tests. The county had nine negative tests returned for a running total of 39,458. Health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 111 people, one fewer than on Monday.
Washington County has seen 129 deaths, two more than on Monday, along with 13,603 cases to date; 228 are active cases.
Fond du Lac County reported one death for a total of 89 with 11,822 positive tests on record; 224 are active cases.
The state says Jefferson County also recorded an additional death bringing their total to 76, and 7,776 cases to date; with 65 active cases.
Columbia County has seen 50 deaths and 4,960 positive tests; there are 69 active cases.
Green Lake County has 18 deaths with 1,518 cases on record; 21 cases have been reported in the last two weeks.
