Wildfire 14U & 10U Girls Hockey Both Play For State Titles On Sunday

The Beaver Dam 14U Wildfire girls hockey team will face Chippewa/ECA in the Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association Class B State Championship Game at 2pm on Sunday at the Family Center Ice Arena in Beaver Dam.

The Wildfire blew by Sauk Prairie 9-1 in the State Quarterfinals on Saturday morning.  Brenna Rhodes had a hat trick while Emersen Damon added two goals and three assists.  Dot Baker collected 12 saves to earn the win.

The Wildfire used a five goal 2nd period to down Washington County 8-1 in the State Semifinals on Saturday night.  Damon led the offense with a hat trick while Baker turned away 12 of the 13 shots she faced to pick up the victory.

The Beaver Dam 10U Wildfire will also be playing in the Class B State Championship in Spooner on Sunday afternoon.  The Wildfire blanked Sauk Prairie 12-0 in the State Quarterfinals and Spooner 13-0 in the State Semifinals.    They will face Tomah for the state title on Sunday at 1:3opm in Spooner.

12:00pm: 3rd Place Game: Wisconsin Valley Union vs. Washington County

2:00pm: State Championship Game: Beaver Dam Wildfire vs. Chiippewa/ECA
