The Waupun High School girls basketball team earned a trip back to the WIAA Division Three State Girls Basketball Tournament with a 50-40 win over Prairie du Chien on Saturday afternoon at Edgewood High School. Sophomore Rowan Harder hit four three pointers on her way to a season high 18 points for the Warriors. Kayl Petersen added 11 and Lydia Aalsma chipped in 10 for the defending Division Three state champs.
Waupun (21-7) will be joined in the Division Three field by West Salem, Kewaskum and Milwaukee Academy of Science.
The Warriors earned the #1 seed at State and will face Milwaukee Academy of Science in the D3 State Semifinals on Thursday at 1:35pm at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
