(Beaver Dam) The capital campaign to build a bigger domestic violence shelter in Beaver Dam was bolstered yesterday with a $5000 donation from the Wisconsin Counties Association. PAVE – which stands for Protect, Advocate, Validate and Educate – serves Dodge and Jefferson counties with its existing shelter in Beaver Dam and an outreach office in Watertown. The non-profit is over one-third of the way to their $3-million dollar fundraising goal to renovate a much larger facility on East Burnett Street. Wisconsin Counties Association President Mark O’Connell presented PAVE with a $5000 donation Monday.
