(Beaver Dam) Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam will be hosting a walk-in COVID vaccine clinic next week. The clinic will open Monday (April 5th) at 8am to 3:30pm or until all vaccinations have been administered. Two hundred single-doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be available for those currently eligible, including those 18 and older with certain medical conditions. The hospital’s Chief Administrative Officer Angelia Foster says they are excited about this additional opportunity to serve the community and get the region close to herd immunity. She says the COVID vaccine represents hope to so many and it is their honor to administer it. Those interested are asked to bring a photo ID and insurance card. There are no residency restrictions and people do not need to be a current Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam patient. On the day of the walk-in clinic, visitors are asked to use the main entrance of the hospital. A notice will be posted to Facebook when all vaccines have been allocated.
