Watertown Man Waives Prelim On Assault Charge

5/19/17 – A Watertown man accused of having inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old girl will proceed to trial. 19-year-old Justin Cesar waived his right to a preliminary hearing yesterday on a felony charge of Sexual Assault of a Child Under 16 Years Of Age, which carries a maximum 40 year prison sentence if convicted. The two reportedly had contact multiple times between 2014 and last June in the Hustisford area. Cesar allegedly admitted to investigators that their relationship started when the victim was in seventh grade and he was a senior in high school. An arraignment hearing is scheduled next month.
