The Waterloo High School softball team has qualified for the WIAA State Tournament for the first time in school history. The Pirates will face Stratford tonight at 6:30pm in a Division Four State Semifinal at the Goodman Diamond in Madison.
The Pirates were runner-up in the Capitol South Conference this season and defeated three ranked teams on their way to the Sectional Championship.

The winner will face either Grantsburg or Iola-Scandinavia Saturday morning at 10:30am in the Division Four State Championship Game.
