Van Egtern Announces Candidacy For Dodge County Clerk

(Juneau) Danielle Van Egtern has also announced her candidacy for the Republican nomination for Dodge County clerk. With the position an elected role, Van Egtern needed to run in the fall election if she wished to retain her seat.

Having been employed with the county since 2019, she has served as chief deputy clerk for the past three and a half years. A clerk is responsible for a number of different tasks including administering elections, issuing marriage licenses, and is the official record keeper of agendas, minutes, resolutions, and ordinances.

Van Egtern says she is a servant leader who will serve the citizens of Dodge County by working every day to uphold election integrity and security, open meeting law compliance, and preserving todayโ€™s history for the future. She adds that this is not a political position for her, it is about continuing to provide an outstanding customer experience for every citizen just as the office has done so in the past.

Van Egtern is a 2009 graduate of Waupun Area High School and lives in the same community raising her two children. She is a member of the Leadership Fond du Lac Alumni, Dodge County Citizens Academy Alumni, is an active member of her church, and enjoys spending her free time taking in the beautiful outdoors with her children.
