(DODGE COUNTY) Regional jobless numbers saw little change in the sixth month of 2025.
The state Department of Workforce Development says the unemployment rate in Dodge County was 2.7-percent in June, a one-tenth of a percent improvement from May. Last year, the number was 2.8-percent. Dodge County did fall six spots in the statewide unemployment ranking to ninth.
Fond du Lac Count’s June unemployment was three-percent, the month prior it was 3.1-percent. A year ago, it was 3.2-percent.
Columbia County’s month-to-month jobless numbers improved by two-tenths of a percent to 2.8. In 2024, the figure was three-percent.
Jefferson County’s unemployment numbers are identical to Columbia County’s. Last June, it was also three-percent.
Statewide, the jobless rate was 3.3-percent, below the national rate of 4.1-percent.
