(Beaver Dam) A Beaver Dam man has been elected as the new state commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Department of Wisconsin. Ty Letto was voted in during the VFW Wisconsin State Convention held in Middleton.
He steps into the role after serving as state senior vice commander and previously as junior vice commander.
Letto says he will continue advocating for veterans, ensuring they receive the support and recognition they deserve while strengthening communities across Wisconsin.
He is a current member and past commander of the Clarence Keskey VFW Post 1163 in Beaver Dam. Letto served in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 after 21 years of service in 2008.
