(Portage) The Portage Police Department has arrested two people on numerous drug-related charges. The Department says after a lengthy and ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity in the city, police arrested two individuals Wednesday in the 2600 block of New Pinery Road.
Thirty-eight-year-old Loyal Stowers and 52-year-old Becki Wachendorf, both of Portage, are facing charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Meth within 1,000-feet of a School, Maintaining a Drug Dwelling, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Resisting Arrest, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and Bail Jumping.
Both are currently incarcerated at the Columbia County Jail.
