(Beaver Dam) Thousands of people crowded the streets of Beaver Dam on Saturday for the seventh annual Fall Downtown Fest.
The day was highlighted by trick or treating, the Witches Dance, the Chamber of Mystery, and the casket races. 16 teams competed for the $1,000 grand prize. K&B Tree and Lawn Care took home first place, with Wayland Academy taking home second place as well as the people’s choice award.
Tracy Propst of the Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce says the event was a huge success.
“We had thousands and thousands of people. I think it was like six or seven deep that I was looking at on the street. Really grateful for the volunteers, have to say thank you to the city of Beaver Dam, with the Police Department for safety, these events just don’t happen without that and shoutout our partners at Downtown Beaver Dam Inc.”
