The Next Chapter Library Renovation Project Fundraising Continues

(Beaver Dam) You may have noticed the roof work being done at the Beaver Dam Community Library as they move forward with The Next Chapter renovation project.   The Library Endowment Fund already has about one-million dollars committed to the project and they are looking for about another one million dollars from the community and supporters of the library.  The library building was built in 1984 and has had upgrades and updates but never a full renovation to get the design up to date for current library needs.  The project highlights include moving the entryway, adding meeting rooms, a reading area and restrooms.

Along with individual and legacy donations, businesses have an opportunity to purchase naming rights for various things within the building.    Library officials hope to have fundraising done by October so they can move forward with the project.

Anyone interested in contributing to the project can do so through Beaver Dam Area Community Foundation.
