A trip to state is on the line tonight as the Beaver Dam softball team heads to Oshkosh today for a WIAA Division One Sectional Final against Watertown in a game you can watch on DailyDodge TV and hear on 1430 ESPN Beaver Dam.
Beaver Dam (19-4) advanced to the Sectional Final with a thrilling eight run rally in the bottom of the 6th to get by Oshkosh West 9-6. Watertown (19-4) blanked West Bend West 4-0 in a game shortened to five innings because of weather.
The Golden Beavers and Goslings split their two matchups today. Both winning on their home field. Beaver Dam won 6-3 in a game split between two days in BD because of weather, while Watertown took care of the Golden Beavers 8-2 on their home turf on May 17th.
Tonight’s game will throw the first pitch at 5pm at Oshkosh North High School. Coverage begins at 4:45pm with Cory Sparks on the call.
The winner heads to the WIAA State Softball Tournament in Madison next week.
