(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials reported 964 positive cases of coronavirus in Tuesday’s daily update, which is 6.6-percent of the 13,700 tests announced. There are 7,800 active cases in the state, up 353 from Monday. Active cases make up over 20-percent of the nearly 38-thousand people who have tested positive to date. So far, there have 29-thousand recoveries.
State health officials recorded six more deaths yesterday, bringing that number to 826. Deaths accounted for 2.2-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 10.3-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized.
Dodge County has five deaths on record and 528 cases, an increase of five from Monday. The county had 121 negative tests returned for a running total of 12,126. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 44 people while 242 have recovered.
Washington County has 19 deaths on record along with 500 positive cases. Fond du Lac County has six deaths to date and 403 positive tests. Jefferson County has four deaths and 369 cases. There has been one death in Columbia County where there have been 125 positive cases. Green Lake County has 43 cases.
