(Beaver Dam) The ribbon was cut Thursday on SSM Health’s newly consolidated Dialysis Center in Beaver Dam. The space is now officially open and accepting patients. The newly remodeled facility is located at N8131 Kellom Road in Beaver Dam, conveniently located off Highway 151.
SSM Health Regional Director of Dialysis for Wisconsin, Diane Posthuma, says the consolidated facility will better suit patients.
“Both were to the point where they needed to be updated. So we are so pleased to have consolidated our services and joined the units together into a beautiful facility. Something that has natural lighting, which was something we missed in Waupun, has wonderful parking which is something that was challenging for us in Beaver Dam.”
The new facility provides more patient care space including large windows in the treatment area, a more spacious lobby area for welcoming environment, enhanced parking, and newer facilities equipment, such as heating and cooling, and water systems.
