Spring Election: School Board Races

(Dodge County) There are a number of school board seats coming due in April.

There are two contested races in Waupun. Jodie Tank and Megan Vande Zande are running for the towns of Alto and Trenton seat. Incumbent Lori van Buren is facing a challenge from Benjamin Pickart for the city of Waupun seat. No one has filed papers for the seat that represents the towns of Burnett, Chester, Oak Field, Springvale, and Waupun.

In Dodgeland, there are no contested races as incumbents David Beal, Andrew Oemig, and Serene Seufzer have all filed.

There are three open city of Mayville seats on the school board. Incumbents Norbert Dornfeldt and Andrew Shoemaker have both filed while no papers have been circulated for the third seat.

On the Horicon School Board, there are two city seats up for election and no current challenges with incumbents Ellen Sunderland and Jackie Vincent both filing papers.

There are four seats up for election in Beaver Dam. Incumbents Chad Prieve, Mary Kuntz, and Maria Mason are all seeking another term. Board Member Bev Beal-Loeck has filed non-candidacy papers. Isaac Dornfeld and Steve Rydzewski are also running.

There are two open seats in the Columbus School District. Incumbent Keith Loppnow has filed non-candidacy papers while Mike O’Brian is seeking another term. Six others have also filed papers including Michelle Stark, Adam Pulver, Martha Rule, Chris Roelke, Corey Ohlson-Rappe, and Joseph Hammer.
