Rock River Coalition Hosting Panel Discussion On Flooding In Dodge County

(Hustisford) The Rock River Coalition invites the public to attend an upcoming panel discussion on flooding in Dodge County later this month. The event titled “Understanding the Landscape: Wetlands, Dams, and Flooding in Dodge County” will discuss water movement and the underlying factors of flooding in the county. Panelists will also examine the implications of wetlands and dams and what can and cannot be done to improve water quality and flooding.

Featured panelists include Katie Beifuss, Outreach Programs Director for the Wisconsin Wetlands Association, Water Management Specialist for the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Erin Cox, and Uriah Monday, a State Dam Safety Engineer for the Wisconsin DNR.

The discussion will take place at the Hustisford Public Library on December 14th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.

The Rock River Coalition is an organization with a simple mission: to educate and provide opportunities for all people of diverse interest to work together to improve environmental, recreational, cultural, and economical resources of the Rock River Basin.
