(Iron Ridge) A Dodge County judge found probable cause Thursday for an Iron Ridge man to proceed to trial on charges that he injured two people a two-vehicle crash while under the influence. Cory Lenhardt was bound over on a felony count of OWI Cause Injury Second Offense. A sheriff’s deputy responded to the crash scene on Highway 67 in the village of Iron Ridge last month June. The deputy reported that both victims complained of injuries and he was able to see a laceration on one of their arms. When the deputy questioned Lenhardt, the 44-year-old reportedly admitted to having two or three drinks. Lenhardt allegedly said (quote) “everywhere” when asked where stopped after work and added that his insurance was (quote) “Mayville.” He reportedly blew a point-two-three-two (.232) during a preliminary breath test on a weak blow, according to the complaint. If convicted, Lenhardt faces up to six years in prison. Lenhardt will be arraigned in September.
