Plea Hearing Scheduled For Clyman Woman Accused Of Attacking Hospital Nurses

(Beaver Dam) A plea and sentencing hearing has been scheduled for a Clyman woman accused of attacking two Beaver Dam hospital nurses. Kiara Ivans is facing two felony charges of Battery to an Emergency Rescue Worker.

During her arraignment hearing this week, Ivans attorney told the court that a plea agreement has been reached. A hearing was added to the court calendar for September 6th.

While Ivans was being treated at the hospital in March, she allegedly became verbally abuse and staff determined she needed to be placed in restraints.

According to the criminal complaint, a nurse was kicked in the chest by Ivans and another was kicked in the head causing her left cheek to swell and bruise. The 21-year-old faces up to 12 years in prison.
