(Waupun) The city of Waupun, REACH, and the Waupun Food Pantry will celebrate the new Community Center during an open house on December 3rd. It starts at 3pm at the new facility located at 520 McKinley Street.
There will be a dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting at 4pm. Residents can tour the new building from 5 to 7pm that evening. There will be coffee, juice and snacks, and raffle prizes.
Construction of the Waupun Community Center was supported in part by the American Rescue Plan Act funds that provided a $4.9-million-dollar grant awarded to the City of Waupun via the Wisconsin Department of Administration by the U.S. Department of Treasury and by private donor contributions.
