(MAYVILLE) Drivers in Mayville will see detours and lane closures next week as the city begins a road improvement project on Oak Street.
The City of Mayville says crews will start milling and paving work June 2 to improve road conditions and create a smoother drive through the area. The project is expected to run through June 9, weather permitting.
Construction crews will work daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
City officials are asking drivers to follow posted detour signs during the project. Brickyard Lane will not be accessible from the west because it is a one-way street.
The city says garbage pickup schedules will not change during construction.
