Newspaper: Alleged Minnesota Assassin Listed Wisconsin Targets

(ST. PAUL, MINN) The man arrested for two politically-motivated shootings in Minnesota may have had some Wisconsin targets in mind. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports 11 Wisconsin lawmakers were named in a screed written by Vance Boelter. The paperโ€™s source wouldnโ€™t say who was on that list, or how they got the information.

Police accuse Boelter of killing Minnesota State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, and of wounding State Senator John Hoffman and his wife. Police found a โ€œhit listโ€ of Democrats supporting abortion rights and other liberal issues. The shootings led to stepped-up security at this past weekendโ€™s Wisconsin Democratic Party Convention in Wisconsin Dells.
