(Beaver Dam) The public is welcomed to a free presentation tonight (Wednesday night) at the Beaver Dam High School that will highlight the dangers of sextortion. The event, called Suicide by Sextortion: A Fatherโ€™s Story, features a heartbreaking story that impacted an entire family and community. The presentation will begin at 6:30pm and goes until 8pm at the Beaver Dam High School which is located at 500 Gould Street.

(Fond du Lac) A convicted sex offender is being released back into the Fond du lac community after serving a year in prison for violating the conditions of his supervision. Willy Laster was sent back into confinement for Resisting an Officer and Unauthorized Use of Computerized Communication Systems to Threaten Injury or Harm. The 25-year-old will be living at 457 Thomas Street.

(Beaver Dam) Local law enforcement is reminding folks of important safety tips when entering a school zone. Beaver Dam Police Lieutenant Jeremiah Johnson recapped a recent incident where a driver had entered a school and nearly injured children in a crosswalk at Washington Elementary. He says the driver missed the 15 miles per hour sign, the school zone sign, and the flashing yellow light on the top of that sign to end up stopping at the very last minute. 

(Dodge County) Dodge County vehicle sales dipped through the first two months of the year when compared to 2024 but overall numbers are up. According to the Waterloo-based industry-tracking firm Reg-Trak, there were 438 vehicle sales in Dodge County through February, which is a drop of nearly five-percent. There were six more car sales than last year but truck sales declined by six-and-a-half-percent. 

(Beaver Dam) Mission: Improv-able will be performed at the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre this weekend. The show will bring quick-witted, unique improv comedy to the stage. The show runs from Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 PM, with a Sunday matinee on March 16th at 2:00 PM.
