New Videos Aim to Draw Visitors to Dodge County

(DODGE COUNTY) Dodge County is rolling out a new push to bring in visitors, using video to show what people can experience across the area.

County tourism leaders unveiled a series of online videos highlighting downtown spots in Mayville, Beaver Dam, Watertown and Waupun, along with popular destinations like Horicon Marsh and Harnischfeger Park. The videos are posted on YouTube and featured on the countyโ€™s new tourism website.

The project brings together local chambers of commerce and businesses, all working to showcase what makes each community stand out.

โ€œCreating these videos was a wonderful opportunity for us to work directly with the communities and businesses that make our area so amazing,โ€ said Morgan Muche, marketing and communications manager for Dodge County Community Development. โ€œWe hope the videos inspire people to come experience Dodge County for themselves.โ€

Alongside the video launch, the county is kicking off a spring sweepstakes aimed at attracting new visitors. The promotion will award two winners prize packages that include overnight stays, event tickets, dining certificates and spending money.

Tourism officials say the campaign is part of a broader effort to grow travel to the area, supported by a state tourism grant focused on building a stronger regional brand.
