(Palmyra) Authorities in Jefferson County responded to a fatal motorcycle crash over the weekend. Sheriff’s officials responded to N1669 on County Highway TK H in the town of Palmyra around 6:42pm Saturday.
When law enforcement arrived on scene, the found a man located face down a short distance from the motorcycle. The preliminary investigation shows that the bike was traveling southbound on TK H.
As the motorcyclist was coming out of a curve near Pine Drive, the vehicle left the roadway on the west side, and struck a culvert. The driver and lone occupant was ejected and landed approximately 50 feet from where the motorcycle came to a rest.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
